SEAMEO QITEP IN MATHEMATICS CONDUCTS COURSE ON
JOYFUL LEARNING IN MATHEMATICS EDUCATION FOR JUNIOR SECONDARY SCHOOL MATHEMATICS TEACHERS

Prof. Subanar, Ph.D., the Director of the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization - Regional Centre for Quality Improvement of Teachers and Education Personnel in Mathematics (SEAMEO QITEP in Mathematics), has officially opened a three-week course on Joyful Learning in Mathematics Education for Junior Secondary School Mathematics Teachers on 23 May 2013 in the PPPPTK Matematika auditorium in Yogyakarta. The course which will run until 11 June is participated by 25 junior secondary school mathematics teachers from Cambodia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand, Timor Leste, Indonesia and Vietnam.

QITEP in Mathematics Conducts the Course on Lesson Study
in Mathematics Education for Senior High School Teachers

SEAMEO Regional Centre for QITEP in Mathematics holds its first course in fiscal year 2013. This course is on Developing Lesson Study in Mathematics Education that will be conducted from 15 May to 4 June 2013. The course was officially opened by Prof.Dr.rer.nat. Widodo, M.S., the Head of PPPPTK Matematika (Centre for Development and Empowerment of Mathematics Teacher and Education Personnel) at the auditorium of PPPPTK Matematika. 

The Deputy Director for Administration,  Mr. Fadjar Shadiq, M.App.Sc reported that this course is for Senior Secondary School Teachers who have passed the selection. There are 24 teachers attending the course, which consist of 14 teachers from districts in Indonesia and 7 teachers from other SEAMEO member countries: Cambodia, Malaysia, Lao PDR, Thailand, and Timor Leste.  During the course, participants will have sessions with the expert of Lesson Study from...

SEAMEO QITEP in Mathematics is pleased to announce the list of participants who have passed the selection to participate in the Course on Joyful Learning in Mathematics Education that will be conducted on 22 May - 11 June 2013 funded by the Government of Indonesia through SEAMEO QITEP in Mathematics.

Notes:

1. The opening ceremony of the course will be held on 23 May  2013 at 8.15 a.m and the closing ceremony will be done on 11 June 2013 (tentative).
2. Participants are expected to arrive at the Centre on 22 May  2013 and leave on 11 June 2013.
3. List of required documents and guide for Indonesian participants related to the conduct of the course will be sent via email on 10 May 2013. If you have not submitted your email address, kindly confirm your email to qitepinmath@yahoo.com.
